East End Applied Arts is home to Kim Harrell’s silversmith and jewelry design studio and showroom. Originally inspired by her educational and practical experience as a silversmith in London, Kim opened East End primarily as a gallery in 2004. In July 2010, she reduced her exhibition space to an intimate showroom featuring her jewelry, silverwork and collaborative work with other artists. Kim's shares her space with artist Phyllis Rider.
With the constant evolution of her collections, Kim's work continues to surprise and challenge the viewer. Her newest venture, @jewelry bar, occurs every third Saturday. Kim offers her time and experience to encourage the creative side in every visitor through the art of beading.
Located at the northend of Aurora's Havana Business Improvement District, Kim's studio and showroom offers private lessons, gatherings for collectors and events that include the debut of new works by Kim and other featured artists. Friendly and inviting, East End Applied Arts offers an opportunity to take more than the artist’s work home; it offers the experience and insight of the creative process.
