farewell to 1556 florence street....

It has been a joyful and eventful experience but it is time to leave.  Yes, after almost seven years, I have moved to another location.

I look forward to seeing you at my NEW STUDIO (see the left column) from July 1. I will be sharing with a well known artist, Phyllis Rider who also shows at Next Gallery and Sync Gallery. We will have a nice and proper grand opening in September, so watch for the date. One door closes and another one opens.....

I am still a member of the association but will be part of another one: the Havana Business Improvement District! Watch this space for more information...

Anytime: Visit my blog to see what's new (for more information about what inspires me and what happens in the studio.)

This is a new piece I completed for a client for him to give to his wife on their 15th wedding anniversary.  The commission presented an opportunity to learn a new skill and so I cut my first stone.  I wanted it to have a "sea-glass" kind of feel - a one of a kind find, if you will.  The stone is a topaz which represents this particular anniversary.  I am told she was very pleased with it!

"Becky's necklace" is sterling silver, 14kt gold with a hand cut blue topaz

HOT OFF THE PRESS!

I have received my copy of Lark Books' "30-minute earrings" featuring my red rubber earrings.  This 'how-to' book is now available.  Just visit here to check it out!
